Marvel: 7 Universe-Destroying Characters! Various Universe destroying characters in Marvel. There are not a few out there who think that Marvel superheroes only deal with supervillains and Earth problems. In fact, apart from dealing with Earth, which is simple in scope, Marvel characters are also quite often faced with problems as wide as the universe. Because just like most American comics, the event of the destruction of the universe has become a fairly common and festive event in the Marvel Universe . Even so, very few Marvel characters have ever been truly responsible for events of this magnitude. Little doesn't mean nothing, here are seven Marvel characters that destroy the universe! Thanos Since his first appearance, Thanos has been known as the Mad Titan who desperately wants to wipe out half the life in the universe. However, in Marvel: The End , he becomes an even more dangerous supervillain after successfully mastering the Heart of the Universe, the source of the universe's energy. With his new powers he managed to defeat all the superheroes and cosmic entities. What's worse, Thanos even absorbed the multiverse. After successfully doing everything he then sacrificed himself to create and improve the universe. Namor & The Cabal When the events of Incursion took place in the New Avengers comics , Namor had no other choice but to sacrifice one universe to save the rest. Instead of doing it with the Illuminati, he instead teamed up The Cabal with Thanos , Maximus the Mad, Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, Terrax, and Black Swan. This he was forced to do to prevent an incursion event from befalling the main universe Earth-616. After Namor and Cabal managed to destroy many universes, Namor finally realized and let the Cabal die in an incursion event too. Mister Fantastic Not long after Galactus is said to have died, the Fantastic Four must inevitably become the universe's last defense against the threat of Abraxas in Fantastic Four #49. Unfortunately, all of them were still not strong enough to stop the cosmic entity. Feeling that he had no other choice, as the leader of the Fantastic Four, Mister Fantastic finally decided to use Ultimate Nullifer to destroy and recreate the universe. Where this time there is no Abraxas who spread terror in it. Korvac Although it rarely appears, it seems that Marvel fans agree that Korvac is a very dangerous enemy of the Avengers. The worst crime ever happened in What If? #32, where he manages to kill the Avengers and resurrect them as his loyal servants. Although his cosmic power is very obvious, but not a few who refuse to submit to him. This is what then makes him angry and finally uses the Ultimate Nullifier to kill Eternity and wipe out all life in the universe. Dark Phoenix In the main universe, Jean Gray did manage to stop the Dark Phoenix from rising from within her body by making a heroic sacrifice. Even so, the story ends in a different way in the What If? #27. It all started when Jean was sleeping and finally the Dark Phoenix managed to take over his body. This then led to the death of the X-Men members who tried to stop him. The trauma from this incident then made Jean release all of the Dark Phoenix's power to all corners of the universe and destroy it. Captain Marvel (Genis Vell) Genis-Vell is the biological son of Mar-Vell aka the first Captain Marvel who is famous for his cosmic powers. Instead, this great power actually made Genis mentally unstable as Captain Marvel. Knowing this weakness, the cosmic entities Entropy and Epiphany then try to manipulate their minds to take all life in the universe and succeed. With his cosmic power he even went as far as to obliterate the universe. Beyonders Speaking of the incursion events that led to the destruction of the Marvel multiverse , the mastermind behind it all was actually the alien race of Beyonders. This mysterious alien race aims to destroy the multiverse as a form of their experiment. In the process, it was revealed that the Beyonders had created all of the Molecule Man in the various universes to trigger the incursion event. In New Avengers #33, the Beyonders plan to harness the power of Molecule Man finally materialized. Where the entire universe fell apart, before Doom created a collective universe, Battleworld, in the Secret Wars saga. Based on this discussion, it's pretty clear that the Marvel Universe has actually been destroyed more than once. Where it's all not only caused by supervillains, but also by the superheroes who have to make tough decisions to save him. Although in the end the universe always returns intact, these events can't just disappear from Marvel history . For whatever the reason, the destruction of the universe is a bad event, where the process always sacrifices all the life in it.
