I have signed up and visited a few times. Why has my location on the map shown up?

Will this forum become the main discussion for all things about Lindybeige, or shall the subreddit remain as the primary forum? Also, I heard, that a Discord-server may be set. It is beginning to get confusing with all this different fora. Which will be the primary site for discussion?
