Now I've always wondered when men started to wear trousers and dresses/gowns/tunics became mostly for women. my original thought was that the Romans and Greeks didn't wear trousers because it was rather hot and only Celtic barbarians who lived up north wore trousers (and no shirt?) to keep warm. but then I heard historical you-tubers (and my dad) make remarks like 'the Huns brought trousers to Europe' and yet I doubt the Gauls and Britons had more contact with the east than the Romans! some clarification would really be appreciated and a 'some points on trousers' would absolutely AWESOME.
